Here's the fall color up in Fort Kent Maine last week. Not so great this year, due to the high temps.

How's the color in your neck o' the woods?

TM
(Eastern Connecticut, where Saturday's high temp was 80F. In early October!)

No pictures handy, but it's been pretty drab here in the Smokies; what color there is is mostly brown. There are a few reds and yellows here and there, but not what we usually get. Prior to yesterday, we've had little rain for quite a while. Nice soaking rain all day yesterday and into the night, though - needed it!

Weve had a lot of leave falling from the dryness, not much color yet. trees just starting to show signs of changing. We're not expecting much this year.

This is the greenest I can remember ever this late in central Oklahoma. It has been a wet fall. Even the local sailing lake is still almost full. It will probably just turn from green to BROWN suddenly.

Headed for the Smokies at 0-dark-30 tomorrow. Not expecting color but we've had the trip planned for quite a while. Take what we get and make the most of it.

There's some color, but the good news is the weather. Rain has gone through; slight chance tomorrow morning, and then 10-20% for the rest of the week. If you're near Townsend, let me know - coffee's on!

What Paul said, only in the SW part of OK.

I was in Boston this weekend and it was nice... it was unusually warm for this time of year; Saturday I was wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Strange temps for New England for sure.
