The a-z of the 100M is spelled out in the just published special edition of AHCUSA magazine celebrating 50 years of the model. (Excellent job - editor Reid Trummel) Don't have it in front of me but I think there are 640 official 100M's, all BN2s.

Thanks Derek. Yes, there were 640 100M models made. All other Healeys with Le Mans kits and louvered bonnets and such are merely cars fitted with aftermarket accessories, and are not properly called "100M" -- that's the name of a very specific model that was built and sold as the 100M, and there were 640 made. We have the Car Nos. (VIN's) of all of them.
That said, and to get back to the original subject of this thread, while the 100M is a wonderful car (I own one; see small photo of same below my signature), any Healey Hundred -- series BN1 or BN2 -- gives you a wonderful driving experience, and of course you can find plain BN1 and BN2 cars for far less money than you'll likely have to pay for one of the 640 100M models. Something to consider, unless of course money is absolutely no object in which case please contact me privately! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
