Facebook - This Could Only Happen to Me

I've fought getting on Facebook since it started.I'm buying
a 1980 Fiesta,& found the only way to view/get on it is to join Facebook.
So I got an account, posting no pictures, just looking around,& finding
some other peoples accounts,& viewing/contacting people on the
Marketplace.
I've done nothing illegal/wrong,& was notified that my account was
SUSPENDED,due to my "breaking the rules".Now they're asking me to do
"facial recognition",using a webcam,which I don't have,nor do I want to do.
I thought this would work a lot better than it does,& be a lot cooler
than it is.

So basically they are saying "go away."
I went through the same thing the first time I opened an account there.
But in my case they gave me a button to contest the decision to "suspend"
my account (brand with nothing posted yet). It took a while but eventually
they just "let me in".

It seems to have blocked me from even viewing Marketplace.
And yes, that's the Fiesta I'm in the process of buying.

Just set up a random e-mail address and even a fake name and open a Facebook account with that. I did that years ago so I can be completely incognito and just join a bunch of TR6 groups. I hate Facebook and all they stand for but view it as a necessary evel.

This is why many of us call it FacePlant. [yeah, I've had an account since 2009 - been warned once or twice for no legitimate reason]

Thanks. So you can just go to see it in person, and skip the FB nightmare!

There was another Fiesta, near Atlanta, that I was interested in.
The seller didn't post a price,or much information on the car.I
thought that if I could get it for a good price,I would then have
most of the parts I need.
I got no response from the seller,& sent quit a few messages
stating that I was interested in the car.Maybe it was him that
reported me.
I still can't get on anything related to Facebook.
