F1Montreal crossing street to track was held up by parade of Healeys, each one had sign in window with driver name. Sure enough driver parade of Healeys prior to start. Imagine toting Schumacher around in your 50 year old car, talk about hearing ominous sounds-phew. Felt big swell of pride.

I had the privilege of driving the first of 24 Healeys in that Drivers' Parade at the F1 race in Montreal. I carried F1 driver Karun Chandhok, and had a nice one-on-one chat for the 10 or so minutes that it took to complete a slow lap.

At one point I asked him, "What is the most important quality for a Formula One driver to have?" His response? "You've got to be fast. Nothing else matters." Couldn't argue with that.

What a way to begin the Healey driving season!

Reid,

Anyone done an an article on this?

Cheers,

Ian
