F-Type news

So far Ive heard the F type may come out between 2002 & 2005 & May be based on the new Ford Thunderbird & may have a turbo V6, 2 seats, & a manual box. Ive heard nothing for sure so maybe I'll just wait for XKR prices to soften then buy 1 of those & drop in a proper manual gearbox. Ford should be ashamed for not offering a manual in a fine car like the XKR
 
Any word on price range for the new F-Type? Are they going to price it out of range of the average guy, or go back to their original concept of affordability?

The F type is going to be the baby brother to the XK8 & is intended to fight the Porsche Boxster, BMW Z3, & MB SLK so it should come in under $45k or half the $ of an XKR roadster. WHEN it comes :(
