Impressive, to say the least!
Raptor

Very, very impressive. I'm guessing the big horizontal stab/elevator combined with mungo power gives it a lot of the maneuver capability.

The J-turn and flat spin (or whatever that was) along with the tailslide, all look like an invite for a flame-out. But that thing just kept chugging along.

Glad they kept the speed down to a reasonable 600 knots for the demo. :jester:

Almost moves around like a J3 Cub......except it's about 80,000 lbs and has six missles.

It must have been a true Stealth Plane. I couldn't load or see the thing.....

Bob Hoover.... one of the great test pilots.
I saw many of his wonderful performances.

Funny, my computer wouldn't run the video, but it worked fine on my phone.

That thing has vectored-thrust (variable angle engine output nozzles), helps to make it handle like a Citaboria!

Love love Citaboria (airobatic) spent many hours doing foolish things in one many years ago.
So windy one day in Minot ND we accedently sort of flew on the taxi way to run way.
went to many a pancake breakfast at short grass fields with her, sweet little plane.
Speaking of sweet little planes you just have to check out the Cirrus aircrafts.Man thet is one comfortable nice flying airplane the Garmin pkg in that plane is really nice so is the price tag !!!

Chris, my lifelong bud left Cirrus last year. He started with them when they were still at the Baraboo WI airport before their move to Duluth. We grew up together and did the Oshkosh flyin every year. He is now head of composites at Pratt Miller Engineering in MI and makes wings and things to keep ALMS cars on the track.

Wings is wings AlMS just fly closer to the ground...know a guy at Cirrus Travis Klumb , son of a close freind of mine. Highschool buddy of mine flys a clip winged Talyor Craft with a a bunch of ponies straped to the prop Warren Pietsch Super Piolt so is his brother Kent. They still do a airshow clown routine. there coming to Sa Antonio going to see them its been a few years .

Travis would know Eric Hartwig then. Our mother's have been friends since 3rd grade, so he's more a brother than just a friend. Eric is a master when it comes to the composites. Great resource when building our race cars.

aeronca65, did my first loops, rolls, stalls etc, in one, had lots of fun, buzzed my moms house in bklyn. one day, she didnt know it was me, mom and sis watched the plane from the front porch while my sister directed strange hand gestures at us, if anyone had gotten and reported the tail number theyd givin me the firing squad, only thing worse then being young and stupid is being old and stupid, yes the correct spelling is "citobria". built right here in the good old u.s.a.

I got wrung out in one at about age 17... ruined me fer life.

First time I got to be baggage in an F-4, pilot tried to get me airsick (never have been, BTW)... after he'd done a roll or two he asked if I was okay. I told him of the Citabria time and he just chuckled, said: "ahh, no wonder." and settled down to fly the mission. He even gave me some 'unofficial' stick time.

I'm going with Citabria.

Once I was off work sick for 2 1/2 months. I was awakened from a nap by the sound of an airplane. I went outside and watched. My friend/roomie had rented a Decathlon (souped-up Citabria) and gave an airshow over my house. Nice Get-Well present.

A few days later, my neighbor told me he had pulled up all his pot plants because of the low-flying airplanes.

I didn't say nuttin'.
