TR2/3/3A Exploded view or tr-3 signal switch needed

Little after the fact here, but since this thread is from 2009; it might help someone.

Here are some photos of the inside of the control head.

My experience has been that it needs to be disassembled and cleaned every few years to keep working right; which I do in the car to avoid having to pull the wires out. A white terrycloth towel on your lap is a good idea!

And here's another old PDF file on disassembly:

I would have taken pictures, but I swear it takes 16 fingers to hold all those tiny springs, washers, nuts and plungers in place while you slooowwwlly try to feed the case back together. Glad you found someone with the presence of mind to photo-document, Randall!

I put it together, but cannot remember which was I assembled the "pawls".Two of your early photos show them one way, but one at the end (3rd from bottom on my computer) seems to show them the other way. Does it matter? or which is right? Or shall I just wait and see?

Well, drat! I thought I fixed that before, not sure what happened.

Anyway, yes, it definitely matters which way they go; the wrong way lets them jam under certain circumstances. The early photos are correct, I've now deleted (I hope) the wrong one.

Sorry bout that!
