exhaust system

The exhaust system on my 62 BT7 finally died. I'm not sure I like the sound of the stainless steel replacements (too subdued). Any suggestions?

Purchase an original replacement system from one of our suppliers---Keoke-- :yesnod:

Hey Art,
I'd just go back with the standard system from Moss Motors. I can't address if
the stainless sounds different than the standard carbon steel system but have heard that before.
I have a standard carbon steel system and love the way it sounds on my 58 BN6, price is good and got it quick. Just some routine
maintenance should keep a regular steel system good for many years IMHO.
Regards,
Mike

Yep they do and some are so thin skinned they ring like a bell too.-Fwiw---Keoke-

The Monza exhaust has a nice high performance sounding tone to it, somewhat deep, but it's been so long since I've heard a stock one, I really can't compare.

It looks good too!

They're Daytons, #D464 (15 x 6; 70 spoke; well laced).

They're OE for the 289 AC Cobra.
