Exhaust kits

Ok, I've been eye balling exhaust kits for a bit of time now. I think I like Moss's Stainless Big Bore kit the most. The other kits I've looked at all seem attractive, but seem to be missing or require me to get extra bits to make it work in my application. Ansa has no down pipe; Peco needs headers, etc. The two stainless Moss kits seem attractive. Their standard stainless kit seems to have everything I'll need (except the mounting kit), but I like the single silencer design of the "Big Bore" kit. However, the big bore kit doesn't state whether or not it has the correct down pipe for a car without a cat.

Does anyone here know if the Moss Big Bore Stainless Steel kit for '75 - '80 MGBs was made for cars without a catalytic converter?

thanks

I believe the kit for 75-80 mgbs are ment for cat version cars only. Only some of the 74.5 and early 75 didnt have cats but had stromburg setup.

They're for ZS carb with cat - to change over, you'd need to go to dual carbs

When I ordered my big bore from moss they sent one that would only fit the zs with the cat converter. They sent a second exaust from NJ that had the correct header portion so everything was good.

Call them up and tell them you need the big bore for a 75 federal car with no cat and they should have it though it may ship it from New Jersey.
