As the title says...its first incarnation was that of a Bell of Pennsylvania service truck.
Engine: '68 302 (from a Ford Galaxie)
Trans: '66 "top loader" 4spd (from a Fairlane 500)
Diff: '79 "9 inch" (from a F150)
Stock Springs on 3" drop front axle and lowered rear shackles (front and rear sway bars)
Front disc brake conversion w/ dual master cylinder
New bed and floor...the Bell Telephone service box was long gone.
Fairlane Body Parts (no longer in business) tilt front end.

Love it. A Ford engine, even better. No bellybutton 350 or LSwhatever crate. Where did you score the Bardahl decal?

Haha Thanks Mark...I agree. The Bardahl decal was an ebay find. So many of these fat fender F100's were used as push vehicles at race tracks and drag strips, I wanted a decal that kinda brought that thought to mind.

very cool

Weren't those phone company trucks an ugly Green color?
I've got some old slides of my Dad's PG&E trucks,the oldest a '53.
He used to get a new Ford truck every three years.

^Yep, that's the color...
