Went to get a turn signal flasher at a local parts store. 10 miles away. Of course they didn't have it. "Who makes Triumph" So I took the Tr250. As i pulled into the lot steam came out from under the hood. 2 pin holes in the manifold hose between the 2nd and third carbs. I didn't have any of this tape in the trunk but the parts store had it. It's mad in England and it's called cold shrink wrap tape. It has no sticky side to it but it vulcanizes it's self to each wrap. Will hold up to 90 psi if you get it tight enough and wait 10 minuted for it to do it's magic.

Sold some to a customer of mine years ago going on a upper Canadian snowmobile trip. He blow a hose out in the boonies and it got him back to camp to make repairs. Got many thanks for it and that's where the idea came from.

Anyone use these green hoses from TRF with any success? These were new in 06 and as you can see in the pics they are a little swelled. I am always concerned about the heat from the headers. That could have done it. There very close. What would be a better produce to use?

I've seen and used both linered and linerless tape. both are excellent.

Thanks for the tip and sorry your trip almost ended in disaster.

FWIW, I use the Triden EL13 flasher relay on 3-pin applications and EL12 for 2-pin application on my British cars. They have worked well for me.
