We used to live in tornado alley (southern IL) and had one come through the outskirts of town. Luckily it was in a sparsely populated part of town so no deaths or injuries, but a lot of property and tree damage. At least its not a (shhh) tornado. You get lotsa those out there. I'd be scared s^^^less.
I'm from the part of the country where they are common enough that we go outside to watch and make up our own minds whether or not a funnel is going to touch down. What do weather men know?At least its not a (shhh) tornado. You get lotsa those out there. I'd be scared s^^^less.
Back in the 60’s there was a weatherman on one of the NYC TV stations that was predicting massive amounts of snow for the upcoming weekend. As it turned out the area only received a light coating and not what was predicted.………. What do weather men know?
Some may think he is joking but I can verify that statement from personal experience.I'm from the part of the country where they are common enough that we go outside to watch and make up our own minds whether or not a funnel is going to touch down. What do weather men know?
Strange weather here - 72 degrees and bright sunny skies.
