Yep, still works; within hearing the first 3 to 5 notes, my hands reflexively spring to the 9:00 & 3:00 o:clock positions.
Oddly enough, with the once or twice exceptions of when I've been working on the Healey in the shop, I've never heard that song while actually driving it (the Healey, as there's no radio).
The toddler years of MTV: some of the best, or am I just lost in the past?
Ole' Ted Yoder though, plays a mean harp! Thanks for posting
Yep, brings back great memories. Since they drove a Healey in the video I watched it so many times I ended up liking the band. In the the end, I bought all their albums.
I agree with Randy a few notes and you can answer the 1000 dollar question name the artist and the name of the song. It is hard to believe, that this song is over 30 years old. The original is upbeat and is for me an evergreen with as bonus the Healey. That the original song is really good is proven, that they used it for the Hunger Games https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaVA6sgOpws this song is much darker and gives you the opposite feeling to the original but maybe it makes the new generation listen to this classical original.
