Nope.

I always just put my chin onna steerin' wheel to see 'em. :jester:

I have, a former mechanic had an old Buick with one - Not MG of course, but too see past the Visor.

Not seen them for MGs, but have seen them on older American cars. I'll admit I do what Doc does, just lean forwards to look up if necessary.

I remember that they were an option on some Oldsmobiles and Buicks in the 50s. Someone probably put the MG logo on the one on ebay. I didn't know they were still available. Olds also had an automatic headlight dimmer back then that was mounted on the dash. Probably an option on other GM models at that time also. PJ

The General Misunderstandings back on the late 40's and early 50's (at least) were hard to see UP out of, especially is you plopped a metal visor on the outside. I've seen those and had to use them, back when signals were only on your side of the intersection. Cannot imagine needing one in an MG, but never know. Pimped out GT with a metal visor, maybe. Probably, as stated, just an MG badge on an old Guide unit.

Flat windscreen, right.

Thinking about it a little more, I have to lean forward in the wifes MGB to see the traffic light when the top is up, with it down, I just look over the windshield frame. One would sure help in that situation. And, I'm only 5'9. PJ
