Heck, where I live (ie. middle of nowhere) I'd drive a long way to attend a real import car event.
One event I'd like to check out sometime is the vintage race weekend at the Portland (Oregon) track on the west, I've heard the cost of entry for spectators is quite reasonable.
And I know a lot of the vintage sports car crowd here routinely travels to the west coast to take in various events there, ones that just don't happen here, no dis-respect to our local Vintage Sports Car Club in saying that, just that...
