Good evening guys. Well after several years of not seriously looking, well I came across a 1980 Spit on Ebay that was local and the right price. Impulse got the better of me, and now I'm a member of Spitfires Anonymous. Ok, maybe there isn't a group called SA, but it's going to be an interesting project/restoration.
This might be my first Spitfire, but I'm not unfamiliar with the car. Currently in my parents garage in Indiana three Spitfire 1500's are sitting around along with a TR-7. The spitfires were supposed to be restoration projects for my brother and myself, and they were supposed to be our first cars. Well life situations dictated otherwise. So here I sit with a "new" spit, and three parts cars to salvage items from.
