Europa at auction.

Hey David!
That is a very nice looking Europa, excellent work by you as usual. Hope it brings top dollar. Kind of wish I hadn't sold mine.
Lots of interesting stuff at that auction especially that markiv Grantura.
One of these years I need to make it back to your show in Fallbrook, or at least make it up to NJ for the TVR event this fall.

Cheers buddy,
Ian Thompson

Hi Ian,
thank you for your comment. The lotus and granny are owned by the same person....seems he is liquidating some of his cars.
would love to have you at both shows. The New Jersey one is definitely a must, if you are a TVR fan.
hoping to see you soon!!!

It is a nice one. Drives really well, and is all fresh, minus the paint.
i have not seen such a true example to hold it against. The airbox alone is worth a small fortune at this point. You must remember that the Tiger that I did sold for 150k plus....we will see.

Beautifully done, David!

We're seeing a lot of increase in going prices for many of the Euro-trash cars of that era lately. I ain't complainin'!

Just inspected a Karmann bodied VW convertable locally, supposedly "all original," for a guy up in New England. It has some "issues" and wasn't exactly as billed, The asking price was somewhere north of $25K!! I doubt that will happen unless it's a "sight unseen" buyer.

Thank you, kind sir.
fully agree....euro trash cars were the throw away when finished vehicles that you would see every time you where out and about. Just saw a 2002 that was in the transported when an MGA was collected here...was told it was sold for the mid twenties. Go figure!
