I'd love to go, but just couldn't make it happen (we were just there for the BMW Roadster Homecoming Labor Day weekend).

If you see Ms. Roberta Evans, or Christy in the gift shop, do tell them that Randy & Sue said hello.

BTW, we looked for your shop, but just couldn't find that *&%$#@ street. On the way out of town (on the Sunday), we saw it; plain as day. We'll make a point to drop in next year. I really wanted to meet you and see Huffaker's old car...

Randy, you're welcome to stop by anytime, unfortunately the Huffaker MGB is home with it's owner now, my work on it is done, like children they grow up and go thier own way /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I think we got pretty close to 100 Healeys, we actually sold out the show field for the first time and had to turn away about 60 cars, however we didn't turn any Healeys away, since this year was the year of the Healey first rights went to the Healeys. I got a buttload of pictures and plenty of Healey shots, I make sure to post them in the next few days. I don't think I ever seen that many big Healeys in one place before, for example ther must have been atleast dozen 100Ms parked beside each other, more 3000s that you could count, it was a amazing sight.

Hap sounds like it was a great day looking forward to those pictures.

Wow, that sounds great, I sure wish we could've made it /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Well, at least Sue & I were able to make our annual Fall trip to the Cider Mill in the Healey today, though ours was the only one there (only sportscar period!).

I counted 36 BJ8’s and 2 BJ7’s at the show. All were in excellent condition. It was a beautiful site seeing all of the Healey marques in the same place. It was a beautiful day to be in South Carolina. At the dinner one of the BJ8 owners got an award for the best un-restored car at the show. It was a one owner at that. This award was presented by BMW. Gerry Coker arrived in a very nice 100M. Gerry’s talk at the dinner was excellent and very informative.
