Being the "mildly" sceptical type, I have a bit of trouble believing that such gas is truly ethanol-free. Kinda like "organic" food, no? Who's checking it every day to ensure that it has no ethanol?

"Organic" food: biggest money-making ploy on the planet. Ethanol free, probably not far behind . . . :lol:
 
Not a big fan of ethanol, based on my understanding of the net energy gain of the manufacturing process.

But......we've has E10 as a mandate here in NJ for a few years.

I haven't seen a problem with it, even in my '69 MGB. On the other hand, I don't have any 40 year-old gaskets or seals left in the fuel system of the MG.

I can't comment about the E85. No experience with that.
 
great site... the closest one to me is only about 1 hour away.... darn
 
Still crossing my fingers that the scourge of ethanol will not be taking over in my neck of the woods anytime soon. I still have a variety of stations to fill up at that are 100% gas.

Google Ethanol Lobby to why that likely won't happen.
 
Take the information with a strong grain of salt. Claims of isolated specific Chevron and Texico and such stations selling ethanol free gasoline are, to say the least, highly suspicious.
