Envious - but wishing you well

While I don't post messages out here too often, I do monitor this forum frequently in hopes that the inspiration will strike me to get off my lazy backside and get my car back together. I had inspiration a few months ago, hoping to have it ready to take to the 50th celebration later this week. Those hopes were soon dashed by work and family items...but mainly my own lack of focus and laziness.
Anyway, while I am envious of all who were able to make the time to go the the celebration this weekend, I want to take a moment to wish you all have the best time imaginable, making and enjoying friendships surrounding the common interest of the LBCs we love/hate.... I also want to wish all of you a safe, happy journey to and from the event.

Again, best to you all... drink a Whitbread's for me, but don't drive afterwards...

Doc, I got a warm 'Old Speckled Hen' that I've had in the boot for two years. I'll crack it open when I get there and have a toast for friends who couldn't make it.
