Engine stopped running

My 1275 on the engine stand was running fine. It ran out of gas and I put in some old gas by mistake, may have been bad. I drained it, drained the SU's fuel bowls, and refilled with good gas.
Now it won't start.
I can get it to start and run for a few seconds with starter fluid.
I cleaned the spark plugs to no avail.

Thoughts?

Fred

Good thought, but fuel bowls fill as they should. I'm gonna pull the jet assembly and flush out.
I'm assuming it's gotta be fuel supply since it fires off with ether.
