im in the middle of my early 100-4 rebuild, close to paint.some help is apreciated. The color on my timing cover which needs cleaning is kind of grey not the usual healey green is this an earlycolor only? Is the side cover on these cars in native aluminum or painted, mine doesnt seem to have paint.Thinking ahead were the dashboard all 2 tone and what color were they painted.Did they match the interior color or some other combo.Im painting my color black. Thanks again

The engines were all green expect for some early ones which were a blue sort of color, go with the green Moss paint color, it's correct and if in doubt paint it green....

Hope that helps,
Michael.

To answer your instrument panel color question; If you're painting the body black the instrument panel would be black with the area around the instruments a light-ish silver, not too glossy. Other color cars had some variations but black/silver was the most common.
