Engine machining up-date

Thought I'd get my engine parts tommorrow.
Probably won't happen. They called asking for
bolts for the clutch flywheel and crank in order
to balance. Also, the key to hold the damper.

Guess I shoulda known, huh?

So how did you come out on the trans and OD? If I recall you sent it out? Did they have issues?

Mine goes in the hot tank tomorrow. Boring starts late next week. Crank due back by next Friday. Hopefully all new parts here by end of next week for balancing the following week.

I'm on schedule.....for now. But I'm in no rush, so things are always on schedule when that happens....

Hired a mechanic. Looks fine. He seemed to know what he was doing
Had to do a little machine work to adapt a lockout switch.

So, the tranny is all rebuilt and the overdrive unit installed.
Couple minor issues hanging fire, like getting the switch to install
onto the steering column; wire harnass and the speedo angle.

Oh, reminds me, got to order a couple small doo-dads for the tranny, yet,
a small pin and spring, I think.

Mornin 2 wrench, yep its the little doo-dads that slows one down. I have made those panic calls because I need that special something or other to finish a minor project and get it off the bench. Most often I find out about it on the weekend. Gotta love the hobby!
