Is that a non Overdrive trans?

All that work and no overdrive??

It is pretty, though.

Now comes the smaller, more tedious work, which can't begin until the engine is in. One big step is now behind you and looking very good along the way.

Looks great but the engine looks lonely without all the other stuff around it.

That's LOVELY!
And what Paul calls tedious, I consider therapy. :jester:

It'll go together at whatever pace you set yourself. Enjoy the process!

Looks great. Now you will see progress every time you work on the car It's a nice time to be at. May I suggest some of these.https://www.summitracing.com/search/Department/Tools-Shop-Equipment/Section/Shop-Equipment/Part-Type/Fender-Covers/?Ns=Rank|Asc&autoview=ProductName

It looks GREAT... it brings back memories of when I was there.
Keep posting pics of the progress!

What fun! Heavy work done, now you can work in your school clothes.
It looks like it belongs in that color.

I have to agree with don... now is the time to do it.

*sigh* i'm jelous of your body tub >_< I've just started stripping mine. On the other hand all my engine stuff is in place already =D

I'll have to remove the intake manifold before I drop the tub back on, but everything else can stay (I know that because that's how I removed the tub in the first place! Just had to take off the intake manifold, and then it slipped right over everything else.

Doc, it's only tedious because now you REALLY have to be careful of that fresh paint...other than that, very therapeutic

Yup. Bath towels (shh!... SHE may not agree), masking tape, heavy craft paper. All good tools as these jobs progress.
