I have a 1275 BMC "A" series engine in my Rochdale Olympic. I believe this came from a 1967 Midget. The engine number listed on the title is 12-CE-DA-H6131.

Can anyone here confrim that it does come from a '67 Midget, or anything about its original specifications (Compression ratio, HP rating, etc.)

Thanks.

James.

Horlers has the 12-CE-DA motor begining Feb 68 through Oct 69.
The H in the number is High Compression, so it would be 8.8:1 right?
I can't help with HP; Anyone else?
