engine compartment hood

Hood is high on one side (the driver side/left) by about 3/4 inch. Any ideas how to lower it/is it a hinge adjustment or some other adjusting point?
 
What kind of car and can you post pictures?

Put some washers on the forward two screws of the hinge in between the hinge and the hood- this will lower the hood. If you put washers on the rear screws (between the hinge and hood) it will raise the hood.
