1979 MGB,
Would anyone know of a good source with pictures and description of hoses and parts on a 79 B ?
Have a lot of smog and hoses etc. and have not found a suitable source of information.
Thanks,
Bhouse

Best bet for parts by year is either Moss or Northwest Imports. There are several variations by year. Lots of You Tube info as well. Personally most of my smog stuff is gone which eliminates most of the jungle of hoses. Good luck!

Good luck indeed. Mine are all gone as well. About the only place you need them is California and maybe Hawaii. Also the Bentley Manual has a section on emissions with diagrams though some are schematics more than accurate layout drawings.

Over the last year or do the emission thingys have gone the way of the Dodo. The following are now in the round file...air pump, injectors, carbon canister, CAT, Zenith carb. Valve cover vent exits down firewall. The rear canister in the trunk is also gone. The tank is vented through the convenient grommet in the trunk. The car runs beautifully I might add...which I just did! At maybe 1000 miles a year, I'm not too worried about the pollutants. Politicians do more than enough!
