Engine Adapter Plate Diagram

Who has a copy of an engine adapter Plate Diagram for an A Series. The one that mounts for the Alternator / Generator Mounting Holes.

I have a copy of the PowerPoint one of our Listers Posted but it does not provide measurements for Parts B & C and does not include the size of Part D which attaches the adapter plate to the Engine. Of course the Mental Midgets at local "Fabrication /Welding Shop could not possibly figure out how to make a simple Adapter plate with information provided. in that PowerPoint Diagram. Guys this isn't tough, use your brainpower to figure it out. PArts B & C are Cut to fit along with Part D. Duh!

Anyone got one handy I can send to these folks. Trying to avoid spending time to build one of these adapter plates.

I just welded a plate to the pipe and then made a template from the block to drill the holes, so it may be easier to just have the fab shop do the cutting/welding and then you can do the drilling.

BTW, I'd send you a template from mine, but it has extra holes because I've used it for other things and I do not know which holes are for a 1275 block until I hold it up to the block.

Trevor

ive got another blueprint for a plate with a pipe welded to it. I'll show that to them and see if these guys can understand that. Need to measure my HF stand and see what size pipe it takes. Thanks.

Seems to me a lot of trouble for just one engine? I purchaser a fully adjustable stand for every engine. Big Healeys, MGB's, SBC, BBC, haven't found one that it doesn't fit.

I haven't actually tried to fit an A-Series on my HF Engine Stand so I can access from the side. Guess I'd better try that before asking for help. All of the brackets are in another box in the garage. Stand was set up as rotisserie without adjustable brackets on it.

You know looking at pics from your garage and your toys is almost as addictive as watching porn.
