If you missed Encounter 2006 - I just loaded the photos I took while I stopped by at Encounter on Saturday.

The Theme was the "M" and as you can see there were some excellent examples in attendance, including the pink on black M featured in the Anniversary M issue from 2005. Sorry to all the 3000 owners, since I am primarily interested in the Longbridge BN4, again you will see few late model 3000s.

Nice shots (lots of glass reservoirs). Any chance you remember the number of the 2-seater right at the opening? Looks to be very close to my BN6L-942 number (at least it's 3-digits).
 
Randy - those glass containers are from the Conclave 2006 photo set taken in Akron, and I am sorry I don't have the car #. The new photos are titled - Encounter 2006. Sorry for the confusion. But I am certainly interested in your car, since it has the Longbridge features, I assume it is the "standard" model with the disc wheels and lacking overdrive? Your BN6 has a very interesting #, per Gary & Roger's book the first BN6 was BN6/501 built in 3/58, so why would your car be considered a 57? another Healey mystery? jim /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
 
Randy - I checked out the Production Data on Derek's site www.healeysix.net and he also notes the first BN6 #501 was built in 3/58. So do you have any info as to why the car is listed as a 1957? thanks jim /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Hi Jim; no clue whatsoever why the great state of California titled it as a 1957.

The Heritage document lists it as being built in May 1958 (I forget the actual two days, sometime around the 15th), but by the time I knew that, I'd already gotten used to it being a "1957" model.

I don't suppose you know where I could scrounge up a chrome washer pump...?
 
Randy - Let's see if we could find a stash of at least 2 NOS chrome washer pumps. I need one also - I have not even seen them on Ebay.

For those who want to simply view the photos without the music, just click on the "album" button at the top left of the screen. It will list all the photos in the album, make your selection, and then you will be able to view the photo as long as you want. jim /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
