Does anyone know if there are any Elvas for sale?
particularly a MK 8 or an early MK 8S.
On a similar note does anyone know of the whereabouts of chassis # 90/01 the Malcolm Wayne car?
Thanks

Curtiss--

Go to www.elva.com and sign up to get onto the Elva Forum--no doubt it's the most active site for Elva information. Roger Dunbar is both informed and responsive and his being located in the UK he will probably be a good source of information for you.

If your search would extend to the US there are a couple of folks that specialize in Elvas that you might want to contact--Michael Clifford in New York (845/226-4979) being one. Also check out Vintage Racing Service's website.

Best--Michael Oritt, Elva Courier

They do pop up from time to time....

My favorite place to look is https://www.race-cars.com

Personally, I like the Mk VI
(first rear engine)

I know people like the VIII because they can put just about any engine in it & be legal.
(Makes the 23 guys crazy)

Took me 3 years to find an early Courier....And they made 150 of them.

If I spot anything, I'll PM you.

Are you OK w/ importing one?

I have noticed that a lot of Elvas have been going the "Wrong" way recently.

Wouldn't some of you Brits like to have a nice shiny Corvette instead? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
