Electrical problem

I'm having an electrical problem with my 86 Mini. Brake lights don't work, turn signal don't work, wipers don't work, emergency flashers don't work. What they all have in common is that they appear to be on the same circuit., I've looked at several wiring diagram and they all appear to be a little different and not a lot of help. I did find that I do have power going into the turn signal flasher, but not coming out. I connected the in and out wire together thinking I have a bad blinker, but still nothing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Terry

After further investigation I see that all the failed components run through the hazard switch. I'd like to test the switch before I spring for a new one. Does anyone know how to test it?

Thanks again.

Terry

Wipers through the hazard switch? I don't think so. I know one fuse in passenger compartment for wipers, another for brakes.
You use a test light on both sides of all the fuses, key on?

True....so does the alternator, if you go back far enough.
I've just never seen power feed come through a hazard switch for the wipers.
I suppose the question should be, what did he do to the car last?
What did he unbolt or change?
