I'm stumped. I'm working on getting the electrics up and running and so far I'm doing ok. Rear harness replaced,
head lights work, brake lights work, turn signals work, horn works, dash lights work, Starter works however I'm 50/50 on marker lights. Wipers are still an unknown.

Right front works and the left rear works. Left side license plate light works right does not. Left front and right rear marker lights do not work. Checking with the multi meter there is no power at the harness the red wire. I did find that the red wire is acting like a ground when the multimeter is placed between the purple wire for the trunk light at the red wire.

Any ideas?

The first thing to check on those side lamps is for a good ground. By your description, I would suspect a short somewhere if the red wire is going to ground. Or perhaps you simply plugged it into the wrong connector?

These things can be tricky to track down sometimes, and it's usually something really simple staring you in the face. Good luck!

Fixed it and now have all the markers up and running but like everything else on this car its 1 step forward 2 steps back. Now the blinkers and the brake lights are out however the hazzards still work. Looks like more reading tonight and more probing tomarrow.

Check the fuse for the green circuit.

Its up and runnings again. Dirty connection again so it looks like I'm going to add a new fuse box and more connectors to the growing parts list.
