Elan Hardtops - Factory, Lenham, or ?

My S2 Elan came with a hardtop and from what I've been able to tell during research is that there was the factory top in 4 forms. Regular and light weight, with and without a rear shelf. Then there were Lenham hardtops that fit the S3, S4,Sprint that used the coupe window and looked just like a coupe when on.

Is anyone aware of any other manufactures of Elan hardtops? Does anyone know if Lenham made one for the S1 and S2 cars?

Mine looks just like a factory top until you look at the window which appears to be a little larger than the factory ones. It also has no rear shelf and no front fitment hardware, etc. I weighed it and it came in at 14.8 lbs but I don't know how that compares to other tops.

I'm going to take it out of the garage storage later in the weekend and take some measurements. I'm going to start a thread on the Elan forum as well to try and figure it all out.

Here's a picture test fit on the car right after getting it.

The window looks larger to me, does anyone notice any other differences?

I'm olny familiar with the S-3/4 Lenham ones.

If I get a chance,I'll check through my Lotus books (lots of them!),
& see what I can find.

I posted on LotusElan.net and I think it's clear it's not factory. It must be a Lenham because they were the only supplier making them outside of the factory. The big difference is the size of the rear window which is larger than the factory. I still plan to restore it and make it work just because I love removable hardtops.
