Randy

Couldn't find the EGR but the servo to manifold is 5/8 UNF so I would bet it is the same?

I got a pair of plugs from a guy on ebay - he seems to have a set up most of the time, though of course there isn't one up at the moment. Cost was about $15, as I recall, which seemed cheap compared to the hassle of trying to find plugs in the right size on my own. They fit perfectly and look well made. If you want a measurement I can fairly easily take them out (engine still in pieces) to get the thread size etc. Just let me know.

Cheers
Alistair

Tom -Those are gorgeous, He ought to go into business. I'll take 2

Since Tom wasn't sharing, I went to my local hardware store and bought them for $2.00 apiece.

I don't remember the exact size, but they are pipe thread.

Add some Never Seize and you're in business.

Actually I have posted this a few times but probably not at the right time.

Mine is 3/4" with 16 threads per inch. They are straight not tapered. My plug is made to close the hole from the bottom. It is not perfect because of the inside shape of the port but I thought it might help the flow anyway. I thought of grinding it to the port shape when I did the engine but did not.

Anyway, right or wrong, that is what I did.
