anyone know where the efi relay is on the 84 jag with 4.2 xj6.not hearing the injecters when trying to start it.thank's

Re: wheres the efi relay located

I think that it is one of two square metal relays mounted on the firewall beside the red diode pack. Both are bosch and have different part numbers stamped on the covers although they look alike. Look at my last post on your other thread. I elaborated some there.

Re: wheres the efi relay located

the red diode box makes a clicking noise when trying to start it,is it bad.i've also tested the injectors, there getting power,i'm getting fuel, fuel pump relay is new,new ignition switch, good fuel pump, good spark.i have 3 ground wires and 1 positive wire on the coil.is there suppose to be 2 positive wire's.i feel it's real close to starting.checked all ground's cleaned plug's and connectors.
