Spent Friday at the Edmonton indy race with my grown son and had a great time, got all burned up in the sun, drank beer and got deafened by cars. The track is at the Municipal airfield in the heart of the City and it's a perfect spot, the last 2 years have been the Champ Car series.
Highlight of the day was visiting the GT cars paddock before the race and chatting with the drivers then watching 55 of them charge round the 2 mile track.
My favourites (naturally) were a heavily modified MGB, a nice looking Sunbeam Tiger and a nice Daimler SP250.
