Wowsa, that's a lovely pair! In that last picture at first I thought I was looking at the rear of the car. Those turn signals look like rear lights.
 
That shape was a "first" for wind tunnel development of a production car and had a drag co-efficiency lower than any other of its time. Just one more of Chapman's engineering accomplishments.
