EBC Rotors

No, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to.
Not needed on a street car by any stretch of the imagination, and not even legal in most racing organizations. They're prone to cracking and catastrophic failure.
Stock solid discs work perfectly well.

are you referring to this brand specifically or off shore junk? Moss have Brembo solid discs for $42, but probably made in Asia. Are these preferable in your opinion, or what would you suggest?

Darren, I meant <u>generally</u> any of the slotted and drilled rotors currently available. Many have the holes and slots drilled and milled in them, rather than cast in. This sets up enormous possibilities for stress risers and resultant cracking and failure.
I run solid Brembo rotors on the Sprite race car, and have had no problems with the brakes at all. And, I use them much harder than you ever will in a street application.
You may even want to check Canadian Tire and see if you can get the Brembo rotors through them. I get mine locally.

Theoretically a slotted and drilled disc will shed heat and water better than a solid disc, but at a loss of braking power. Less metal to pad contact means less braking ability. Aside from that, Jeff's concerns are warranted. MGB brakes in proper working condition are more than adequate for the car. Use the money you save for projects elsewhere on the car!
