Ebay problem?

Is anyone else having trouble posting an item to sell on ebay?

For the last two days I've had a new item all ready to list - all the fields filled in - but when I hit List Your Item, I get a new page "Looks like you're using a different computer". Then I have to "confirm" by having ebay call me. But the phone number showing isn't correct (wrong area code). There's no way to change it. Even if I say call me on that number, the page just freezes.

I changed to another browser - same problem.

I called ebay last night. "Yes, we're having trouble with sales postings. We'll call you when it's fixed."

But as the number is incorrect, they can't call me.

Anyone else?

Sounds like someone hacked them. Glad to hear that, they've gotten too big fer their britches.

It's 24 hours later and the problem continues. Can't list the item until ebay calls me to "verify" my account. But regardless of what phone number I enter on the verify page, ebay says "cannot verify that number - please enter another number".

Called Customer Support again, finally got a real human being, but their line was a bad connection and it dropped me. Great Caesar's Ghost! This has been going on since at least Sunday.
