Has anyone tried the TR3 floors that are available on Ebay? At around $150 for the pair they sound pretty cheap. I will pay up for better parts if they are a better fit and quality. Any thoughts welcome! Thanks Bob

I have not tried the ebay ones, but I helped a friend put in some from Moss and they went in okay, but we had to purchase and weld all of the nuts and nut cages onto the panels. I then used a pair from TRF and have been pleased with those. The only issue was that they seemed to be a inch or so to long. That might be the difference between my car and later ones. These may also have been a bit thicker metal, but I am not sure.
I would guess the differences with the ebay ones would be in the metal thickness and then the extra cost and work to put the nut cages on. The holes were already drilled in all of the panels.

Bob,
I bought a pair. Thought they were good for the money. A little crudey shaped, they are good for a driver restoration but if you are doing a ground up car I wouldn't use them.

Thanks Marv, Just the info I needed to know. I got the new TR3B running this morning. I had to rig a set of 1 1/2" MGB carbs to get it started since the originals are MIA. Sounds pretty strong. Now I need to get the water system sealed so it will run longer. Bob

I believe the Ebay ones are C2C floorpans, they're good as large patch panels for a driving restoration, but not for a concourse restoration. I've got a pair of the TR4-6 ones and they're very good except that they dont have the transmission tunnel lip on the inside. I've still got my pair sitting int he basement since I no longer have a 4-6 body to use them on =D
