What spanner size is required for the brake bleed nipple on a '73 MGB GT?

5/16" is too big, and 1/4" is too small!

Thanks

I forget the actual size, but I believe it's whitworth. You can usually find a metric size that will fit tight enough.

A six-point "nine thrity-tooths" (9/32") fits acceptably.
