Easy[er] way to get frozen brake rotors off

Have you ever had difficulty getting a frozen brake rotor off the hub? Well, one night I was at my wits end (a short trip) with a rotor on my Santa Fe, and I pondered the problem for a while and came up with a method I've been using ever since with great success. Now it is quite possible that someone else has come up with this already, but it was new to me and I figured this out myself one night out of desperation. Anyway, I describe the method in a short video.

Man, I could have used your video on Saturday! I helped a friend do his rear brakes and the rotor just would not come off. I struggled and finally it came off. I used some penetrating oil and a BFH to convince it.
By the way Bas, I didn't see any jack stands in your video... just saying.

edit:... just watched it again and noticed the rear jack stand.

WD-40 seemed to work ok with this method. Never tried Deep Creep (never heard of it actually).

Deep Creep is really just a brand of penetrating oil.
 
I made a qt. of weasel, keep sealed for emergencies, and a squirt oil can at the ready. I never use WD for anything but squeaks.
