Today a number of the cars that will be on display at the Burn Foundation's Concours at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem PA tomorrow spent a few hours with us at America On Wheels. They toured the museum and had lunch in the Long Haul before heading over to the Sands Bethlehem Casino. About 30 of the 100 cars came, and I did meet racer Janet Guthrie and get to talk to her a bit before the cars moved on. I snapped a few photos when I was not inside sharing the museum with the visitors. We also had a Scooter cruise at the museum today as well as a Big Brother/Big Sister recruitment event...

and a few of these cars were volunteers at the museum who brought their own vehicles this morning to help out with the cruise, including Fagin looking like the Danny Devito half of twins, and a very versatile motorcycle...

Great pictures! Always appreciated!

The shot of the scooter made me giggle a bit

What! No picture of Janet? I have been fortunate enough to meet her a few times over the years and was curious as to how she is looking nowadays! (First time I met her was at an SCCA meet at the Glen (early '60s)when she was campaigning an XK120 (Very similar in color to the gray one in your pix!). Love the family pic with the scooter...reminds me of a trip with Mum and Dad in my youth!

Mike,
Love your family photo with the great side car. Here is a photo of Janet riding shotgun on the way out, and then her head shot cropped from that photo. (Plus one other nice car that was there).
