John and Peter have just heard that the tomb is empty. They race to see if it's true.

John, in white, hopes that the Man he watched dying, is indeed truly alive again.

Peter, in dark clothing, denied the Man many times, is terrified and fears the story is true.

The tomb was empty, Jesus lives, Peter had no reason to fear, and neither do we, because the one he denied was, and still is, ready and willing to forgive. A reason to celebrate for certain.
