Here it starts with black bean and corn salsa - lots of cilantro and jalapenos! - baked ham, macaroni and cheese, pea salad, baked beans, mashed potatoes...

I could stop with the salsa!

If your not eating Ham, then Well....
You know

Aunt took us out to a local restaurant with an Easter buffet. Salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, turkey, ham, roast beef with fresh horseradish, green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, rolls, cornbread muffins, roast red potatoes,
and dessert was a choice of Boston creme pie, coconut cream pie, pound cake with strawberries, or chocolate creme pie.
I'm stuffed....
nap time.

Started out w/ IHOP this morning and had ribs here when we got back later.

Turducken, peas, carrots, gorgonzola mashed potatoes, and tiramisu cake for dessert

50% of the public love cilantro. The other 50% thinks it takes like soap. For true. I am of the latter.

I like it in moderate amounts.

I like it in immoderate amounts. Replace the basil w/cilantro when you make pesto. Yeah!

free range turkey, stuffing, beets, turnips, salad, - all grown within 100 miles and my brother in law cooking. wonderful!

Apparently there is actually a genetic reason that cilantro tastes like soap to 50% of the population.

We're in the other 50%.

Strawberry-spinach salad, ham, bourbon yams, asparagus, rolls and Key-lime pie.

Mmmmm.... Key lime pie is what I have for my birthday "cake" every year!

Never seen a Key Lime. What do they look like on the tree?

Just like other limes...

...only smaller...

...and a bit yellower.

Authentic Key Lime pie is hard to come by. And if it's green, you been scammed.

Like LIMES.

Joe's Stone Crab in Miami is famous for their Key Lime Pie. All their limes come from Mexico, though.

How do they get them to grow in the shape of a Key?

The key to Joe's Key Lime Pie is....the their Stone Crab. Killer. They only serve fresh-caught crab claws, never frozen. Everyone else in Miami buy the previously frozen crab claws, well, almost everyone else. Or they sneak in Jonah crab.
