E-Type delivered today. 65 Series 1 Coupe. Has some needs but engine and transmission seem healthy. Long term owner, California car, very rust free. Great start.

Per seller, needs a new rear wheel bearing, checking into that tomorrow. Lifelong dream car.

Not rusty underneath the glossy bits, bought sight unseen, calling it a win.

If you're going E-type, that's the way to go.

Bought sight unseen? You are a lucky man! What a great car.

If you get bored with it ... I have an empty garage ...

Thanks for the kind words, I do feel lucky, almost overwhelmed. I have owned lots of British cars, but this is definitely more British car than I have ever owned.
