PROBLEM: I need to apply too much pressure on the foot brake to illuminate the brake lights.

SOLUTION: Install a new switch.

QUESTION: I purchased the new switch from XKs Unlimited, but how and where do I install it?

Thanks!

Hands and knees Pal. It's found on the engine side of the footwell. Pretty much right in front of your clutch foot. You may have to remove an aluminum shield to get to it. Start your search by looking under the battery. This is assuming you have a Series 1 or 2. If it's a V-12, sorry I tried. ;-)

Here is the pressure switch that activates the brake lights. When you change your's, you'll have a little fluid escape. I bet if your quick when you change it and after a trip around the block, you won't have a need to really bleed the system.
