Hi Folks;

I`ve been looking at several 3.8 Rdstrs with Chassis #s starting from 877 to 880:

Some show the Alum. dash & console area (Which I love to death) & some show vinyl or leather coverings:

Who out there knows when or at what Chassis # did they change from the Alum to Leather or Vinly?

The alum dash was changed to leather in September '63 from

OTS. 850752/879803.
FHC. 861254/889030.

Thanx for the info: Sure does help: My Chassis # is: 880827 with the vinyl trim as Orig. I just love the look of the Dot or Milled Alum Console etc: "Should I or Should`nt I"????????

Do what pleases you. Sure it might not be original, but it would not be hard to redo for show or original sale. Really will not hurt value of car.
