Dyno Day in Douglas, MA

Very interesting!
I have done this with my TR4a on several occaisions, and also had a wild A/F curve, which prompted me to get a Holley fuel pressure regulator to solve the problem.
I got 100rwhp and 114ft.lbs of torque,(my car is modified quite a bit), interested to know your numbers on the TR6.
Simon.

I'll be posting the numbers as this goes on. I spoke to Jeff Palya and we both agree on a possible minor vacuum leak causing the low speed lean condition. As far as I know, I do have the correct carb to filter gaskets installed, so the vent holes should be clear.

But, that in turn will make the high end rich condition even worse. A few controlled turns of the metering needles should bring it in to spec after I fix the leak. If it's there.

And Tom, just for the record, as far as I know, I do not have the Jag needles in my carbs.

And a fuel pressure test may very well be in order too. Thanks for the tip!

Well, now is as good a time as any to find out for sure. I'll ask Jeff and get back to you.
