Dynamat question one or two layers

The TR6 originally used a thick asphalt mat for sound deadening. As I start to put things back together I plan to use Dynamat extreme where the original material was. For those who have used Dynamat, have you found a single layer is sufficient or did you double up? I plan to use jute under the carpet.

I used a double layer where replacing factory original. I also added single layers to several surfaces. It does help muffle things, mainly road noise and vibration induced noise. The engine sound and exhaust still sound fine.
Here's one of the work in progress

I did just about every flat surface and although that was about 80 pounds of weight I like it.
